1 Assessment System at Anandalaya ( Jr. & Sr. KG)

  The grades awarded against each rubric of every subject will be based on the assessment of components taught during a particular periodic tenure .
  The Final Progress Report will be prepared on the basis of consolidated performance of every student assessed in each Periodic Tenure. (PT-1-3, NBS-1-3, LA-1-3, RTs 1-3, FRA) in the month of March
  A two hours Final Retention Assessment will be conducted in the Month of March for Practice of writing Examinations in each subject (Scholastic) before the declaration of Promotion Progress Report. It will be of 30 Marks.

3 Assessment System at Anandalaya (Classes III to V)
  Three periodic assessments:
  Assessment - 1 ( July )
  Assessment - 2 ( October )
  Assessment - 3 ( February )
  Retention Assessment ( March )
  Based on course components split-up prepared by subject teachers
  Grades : 5 - point scales awarded as per the following specifications:
   
A* OUTSTANDING 90% to 100%
A EXCELLENT 75% to 89%
BVERY GOOD 56% to 74%
CGOOD 35% to 55%
DSCOPE FOR IMPROVEMENT Below 35%
  against the rubrics of different Scholastic subjects.
  Notebook assessment in each periodic tenure will be done 6 times with a weightage of 15 marks .
  Learning Activities (LAs) and Subject Enrichment Activities (SEAs) will be conducted one each during each periodic tenure with a weightage of 20 and 15 marks respectively.
  Each periodic test will carry 25 marks.
  In the Month of March, a two hours Retention Assessment in each subject with a weightage of course components PT-1:20%, PT-2:20% & PT-3: 60% will be conducted and the Scores obtained in the Retention Assessment Will have 20% weightage in the final results . It will be for 50 marks.
  (i.e PT 1+ PT2 +PT-3 (80%) plus Retention Assessment (20%) = Final Result (100%)
  Final Result will be declared in the month of March based on the performances in Periodic Tests, Notebooks Submission and learning Activities assessed by every subject Teachers and the Retention Assessment.
3 Assessment System at Anandalaya (Classes VI to VIII)
  Classes VI to VIII will have 3 Periodic Tests ( July, October and January) ,
  Final Examination ( March ).
  Periodic Tests will be of 50 Marks each for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science & Social Science.
  Test of 20 Marks each for Gujarati & Computer Science (October and March).
  Final Examination will be of 80 Marks each for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science & Social Science in the month of March.
  The scores obtained in PTs (10%) ,the Notebook Submissions (05%)and Subject Enrichment Activities (05%) of each Tenure will have a Weightage of 20%.
  Notebook assessment in each periodic tenure will be done 8 times of 10 marks each.
  Minimum two Subject Enrichment Activities of 10 marks each must be conducted in each tenure
  Retention Assessment to be held in the month of March of 80 marks. ( Syllabus upto PT-1 (30 marks ) and syllabus covered for the conduct of PT-2 (30 marks) and 20 marks for the remaining syllabus

  Three Periodic Assessments with one Annual Examination

  Passing Criteria 33.33% in both i.e. Theory and Practical Examination held in March 2019.
  For Class XII- Two Periodic Tests , PT-1 of 40 Marks and PT-2 will be of 70/80 /100 Marks (March) and Practical Examination of 30/20/00 Marks (March)
  Passing Criteria 33.33% in both i.e. Theory and Practical Examination held in March 2019.
